Summary of November 12th Users Group Meeting

November 17, 2009

A fun time was had by all at the last Central Ohio PowerShell Users Group.  Dr. Ferdinand Rios, CEO of Sapien Technologies was able to include us on their national tour.  We spent the majority of the time looking at the most recent version of PrimalForms.  Dr. Rios demonstrated a lot of the functionality including but not limited to the following:

  • Integrated Help
  • Integrated Object Browser
  • Packaging capability

Dr. Rios quickly developed a couple applications as part of the demonstration.  If you have the need to develop graphical user interfaces for PowerShell, you really should take some time to download the 45 day trial and give it a test drive.

We also were able to get a sneak peek of the next release of iPowerShell (An iPhone/iTouch app).  The next version is updated for PowerShell 2.0 and has a tighter integration of associated cmdlets.

The group appreciated the enlightening session (as well as the Donotos pizza)!  Thanks Sapien and Dr. Rios!
